Experience
I have earned numerous degrees throughout my career as a student. I have master's degrees in Microbiology and Public Health. My Public Health degree includes a specialty in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. I earned that degree at the Boston University School of Public Health/ School of Medicine. From New York University, I earned my MS in Microbiology. During and after my graduate studies, I worked for 30 years in the healthcare industry, and the whole time I worked in that field, I have had the chance to teach thousands of people in the areas of their personal health and well being. I've taught a variety of students at all levels, including high school students, professionals in the medical field, and even various community groups. I personally mentored a student throughout her years of studying for her master's in Public Health (MPH) degree. I have acted as mentor to other students in other specific medical areas of expertise. I feel a deep sense of pride when I reflect on the people I have helped along their educational path, and I intend to continue tutoring and taking advantage of opportunities to teach. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, walking outdoors, and making various arts and crafts.
